Valentine's Day
Living Wisdom School Pre-Kindergarten teacher Julia Timpson reports:
We had a wonderful Valentine's Day. The children were excited about receiving cards and messages from all the other children. We had circle time and each child shared something that they appreciate. Here are some of the things they said:
"I appreciate all my friends."
"I appreciate the warm sun."
"I appreciate that spring is coming."
"I appreciate the trains."

Next week our theme will be our second school rule "Laugh Often!"
Also next week, I am asking each child to bring an avocado pit and a small glass jar by Thursday. On Wednesday, we will make guacamole, and then the next day we will need the pits. With spring fast approaching, we will watch our avocados grow and later plant them in colorful pots.
