At LWS, science education is not directed at preparing children to “test well,” as is often the case in schools where a science teacher may have 180 students. The low student-teacher ratio allows students not only to master the California State Board of Education science content standards, but to acquire a love of science through fun-filled challenges in problem-solving and hands-on experiments.
