Kuan Yin descends to earth as Miao Shan, daughter of King Miao Huang and Queen Pao Te. This beautiful dance shows the Queen's conception of Kuan Yin.(2 min)
the birth of Kuan Yin as Princess Miao Shan. It begins with a royal minister advising the King; the birth dance follows. The sequence ends with the King's discovery that his last child is not a boy. (5 min)
The Thousand Arms dance in which Kuan Yin expresses her compassion to all living creatures before revealing herself as a Bodhisattva. (3 min)
