Teachers and Parents: See the Martin Luther King, Jr. curriculum guide.

Theater arts play a major role in the curriculum at Living Wisdom School. All of the children participate in an annual major theater event that portrays the life of a great soul. From their involvement, the children learn rich lessons in academics (history, geography, memorization skills, the arts) and personal poise. And, of course, they receive measureless inspiration and lasting life-lessons from their deep involvement with the subject of the play

To learn more about the benefits of arts participation at LWS, please see this conversation with school director Helen Purcell. (Video clips of past plays are archived here.)
